With the authorization decree of the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, Ente Certificazione Macchine is authorized to carry out the CE certification activity according to the RED Directive 2014/53/EU, for radio equipment.

Directive 2014/53/EU (which replaced the R&TTE Directive) defines the requirements, established at EU level, to which radio equipment must comply in order to be placed on the European market. The manufacturer or importer (in the case of radio equipment produced in countries outside Europe) is responsible for placing equipment on the European Union market that complies with the RED Directive, compliance which is demonstrated by the CE marking.

It is therefore essential to contact a Notified Body in order to verify compliance with the regulations and ensure that safe and compliant products are placed on the European market.
Ente Certificazione Macchine is authorized to carry out, as a third party, the conformity assessment activities according to Directive 2014/53/EU, performing the necessary tests and verifying compliance with the essential requirements of safety, electromagnetic compatibility and radiofrequency as established by the Directive.
