From 26 to 30 September the staff of ECM Shanghai will exhibit at CIIF 2022 at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center – Italian Pavillion, Hall 1.1, Booth F2.

The China International Industry Fair (CIIF) is one of the most important industry fairs in China, an important showcase and platform open to the world for international trade, communication and industry cooperation. After the stop due to the Covid-19 pandemic, CIIF is back with the 2022 edition that will include nine thematic exhibitions and over 2,600 exhibitors. 160,000 professional visitors are expected at the event, who will move around 280,000 square metres of exhibition space.

THE ITALIAN PAVILLION

As a leading country supplier of technology and machinery to the world’s major industry players, a large space will be reserved to the Italian Pavilion and the excellence of Made in Italy. 1,100 square metres and almost 50 companies will present their innovative technologies and new products to the Chinese audience. The Italian Pavilion is organised by ITA – Italian Trade Agency and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the Embassy of Italy to the P.R.C. and the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai.

CIIF 2022 will also host the Second Week of Italian Mechanical Engineering in China (WIMEC), with the aim of promoting Italy’s leading role in the sector. Italy is a world leader in the mechanical engineering sector and a supplier of technology and machinery to the main industrial players in the world.  IN fact, 50% of total Italian exports to China come from mechanical and engineering technologies.
