{"id":344,"date":"2020-01-28T10:45:38","date_gmt":"2020-01-28T09:45:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.entecerma.it\/who-we-are\/about-us\/"},"modified":"2026-02-13T08:11:44","modified_gmt":"2026-02-13T07:11:44","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.entecerma.it\/en\/who-we-are\/about-us\/","title":{"rendered":"About us"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\r\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"ECM Video corporate_5 nov 2025\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/1133779787?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"1170\" height=\"658\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\"><\/iframe>\r\n<\/div><\/figure><br>\n\n<div style=\"height:39px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"has-very-light-gray-background-color has-text-color has-background\" style=\"color:#364f8f;font-size:24px\"><strong>Who we are<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">ECM has a <span style=\"color: #364f8f;\"><b>twenty-year of experience <\/b><\/span><\/span>in the certification of products, machinery and work equipment, positioning itself as a point of reference for international companies in the verification of compliance with the standards imposed by EU directives and major international standards.<\/p>\n<p>Through its 4 operational divisions \u2013 <span class=\"s1\"><span style=\"color: #364f8f;\"><b>pecertification, laboratory tests, inspection and training<\/b><\/span><\/span>\u00a0\u2013 ECM is able to offer a wide range of quality and safety services.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:67px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"has-very-light-gray-background-color has-text-color has-background\" style=\"color:#364f8f;font-size:24px\"><strong>Our History<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><span class=\"s1\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><strong>ECM &#8211; Ente Certificazione Macchine<\/strong><\/span> was founded in <span style=\"color: #364f8f;\"><b>1998<\/b><\/span> at Savignano sul Panaro (MO), Italy. <\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span class=\"s1\">Subsequently, thanks to constant expansion, the company decided to move and build its headquarters in <span style=\"color: #364f8f;\"><b>Castello di Serravalle <\/b><\/span>\u2013 Valsamoggia (BO), where it currently resides.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p>The attention to the international context has led ECM to expand its presence globally, through the creation of a dense network of commercial partnerships in China, South Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, Iran, India, Israel and United States.<\/p>\n\n<p><span class=\"s1\">Over the years, ECM has expanded its areas of expertise by obtaining accreditation as a <span style=\"color: #364f8f;\"><b>Notified Body <\/b><\/span>for various European Product Directives and as an <b><span style=\"color: #364f8f;\">accredited Testing<\/span> <\/b><b><span style=\"color: #364f8f;\">Laboratory<\/span><\/b>. ECM has also been appointed as NCB, to operate within the international CB IECEE scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span class=\"s1\">In just over two years, following a considerable increase in the activity of the <span style=\"color: #364f8f;\"><b>Medical Devices Divisione<\/b><\/span>, ECM decided to further expand its structure, through the construction of a\u00a0<b>new building<\/b>, next to the current Valsamoggia headquarters.
