In particular, any document issued on a voluntary basis CANNOT in any way replace the EU Declaration of Conformity, which can only be issued by the manufacturer or its authorized representative.<\/p><\/p>\n\n All documents issued on a voluntary basis by ECM are prepared in compliance with the provisions of the note \u201cVoluntary certification for products subject of EU technical harmonisation legislation\u201d<\/em> issued by the European Commission on September 14, 2022.<\/p><\/p>\n\n A voluntary document <\/strong>is issued by ECM upon request of a Client who meets the requirements to obtain it, solely on a voluntary and non-mandatory basis. As clearly stated in its title and content, it is not a EC Certificate<\/strong>, and the issuance of such documents does not fall within the scope of our notification under the European Union\u2019s harmonized product legislation.<\/p><\/p>\n\n With the voluntary document alone, it is not possible to place products on the European Union market.<\/p>\n\n Documents issued on a voluntary basis are irrelevant for the purposes of product compliance, as reported by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs Department for Labour, Social Security, Insurance and Occupational Health and Safety Policies<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n In particular, all documents issued on a voluntary basis that include references to EU Regulation 2017\/745 have been formally withdrawn and the use of such documents is prohibited.
