On that date, the current Machinery Directive 2006\/42\/EC will be officially retired, making way for <strong>Regulation (EU) 2023\/1230<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:28px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-254072dc6ca28b31a01cccd3a81b38cd\"><strong>THE IMPACT OF THE NEW REGULATION: REDESIGN AND TECHNICAL RIGOR<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>The transition from Directive to Regulation means absolute uniformity throughout the European Union, with no room for local interpretations. However, the real challenge lies in the new <strong>Essential Health and Safety Requirements (EHSRs)<\/strong>, which now include <strong>cybersecurity<\/strong>, <strong>artificial intelligence<\/strong>, and <strong>software management<\/strong>. For manufacturers, this could result in a redesign of control systems and significantly more complex technical documentation.<\/p>\n\n<p>A critical element of the analysis concerns the conformity assessment procedures.
