{"id":2144,"date":"2019-11-26T11:10:00","date_gmt":"2019-11-26T10:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.entecerma.it\/medica-2019-trade-fair-read-our-experience\/"},"modified":"2019-11-26T11:10:00","modified_gmt":"2019-11-26T10:10:00","slug":"medica-2019-trade-fair-read-our-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.entecerma.it\/en\/medica-2019-trade-fair-read-our-experience\/","title":{"rendered":"MEDICA 2019 TRADE FAIR: READ OUR EXPERIENCE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>reat success for ECM\u2019s participation in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.medica-tradefair.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Medica 2019<\/strong><\/a>, the world&#8217;s leading medical exhibition, which takes place every year in Dusseldorf.<\/p>\n<p>The four-day trade fair registered a new record of attendance:\u00a0<strong>5500 exhibitors<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0<strong>69 countries<\/strong>\u00a0at MEDICA, and nearly 800 exhibitors from 41 nations at COMPAMED &#8211; the trade show dedicated to medical technology industry.<br \/>\nThe exhibition is therefore confirmed as the no.1 platform for\u00a0<strong>international business<\/strong>, with two thirds of visitors representing about 170 countries and more than 90 per cent of the 121,000 professional visitors with decision-making authority. Many institutional delegations from Asia, North Africa and South America contributed to this high degree of internationality, which encountered the export interests of many suppliers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ECM<\/strong>\u00a0attended MEDICA in partnership with the prestigious\u00a0<strong>Democenter-Sipe Foundation<\/strong>, as part of the internationalization project\u00a0<em>HealthCare Made in Emilia-Romagna<\/em>, which involved several leading regional players.\u00a0<em>&#8220;The program&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0says\u00a0<strong>Federica Secchi<\/strong>, ECM Business Manager<em>\u00a0&#8220;has allowed ECM to consolidate its global reputation and get in touch with important international organizations&#8221;<\/em>. Our managers received customers and visitors at our shared exhibition space in Hall 15 &#8211; Stand A29, illustrating our services and activities as a\u00a0<strong>notified body<\/strong>\u00a0for medical device certification according to MDD 93\/42\/CE and accredited\u00a0<strong>testing laboratory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The new\u00a0<strong>medical device regulation 2017\/745<\/strong>\u00a0was one of the most discussed topic with the participants.\u00a0<em>&#8220;Medical device manufacturers and professionals are very concerned about the issues related to the new regulation&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0explains Federica Secchi,\u00a0<em>&#8220;they are all starting to prepare for the upcoming changes and will soon have to face the new challenging requirements&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ECM<\/strong>\u00a0is currently working to be accredited according to the\u00a0<strong>MDR EU 745\/2017<\/strong>\u00a0and to provide companies with\u00a0<strong>new services<\/strong>\u00a0oriented to regulatory changes that will involve stakeholders from May 2020.
