{"id":2316,"date":"2020-02-11T15:05:52","date_gmt":"2020-02-11T14:05:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.entecerma.it\/raps-reports-on-the-state-of-play-of-notified-bodies-for-mdr\/"},"modified":"2020-02-11T15:05:52","modified_gmt":"2020-02-11T14:05:52","slug":"raps-reports-on-the-state-of-play-of-notified-bodies-for-mdr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.entecerma.it\/en\/raps-reports-on-the-state-of-play-of-notified-bodies-for-mdr\/","title":{"rendered":"RAPS REPORTS ON THE STATE OF PLAY OF NOTIFIED BODIES FOR MDR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>RAPS<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.raps.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; takes stock of the accreditation of new notified bodies for MDR and those in the process for accreditation.\u00a0While many Notified Bodies for the Medical Devices Directive have decided not to apply for\u00a0<strong>MDR 2017\/745<\/strong>, others are waiting for their designation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Among the last ones, also <strong>Ente Certificazione Macchine<\/strong>\u00a0which, as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.raps.org\/news-and-articles\/news-articles\/2020\/2\/czech-notified-body-declines-to-apply-under-mdr-as?feed=Regulatory-Focus?utm_source=Twitter&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=Regulatory-Focus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported by the RAPS<\/a>\u00a0itself,\u00a0<em>\u201creceived last September a joint assessment by the European Commission and the Italian national authorities as part of the MDR designation process\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Actually, <strong>ECM<\/strong> is in the middle of the certification, our staff is working hard to complete the last activities necessary in order to get to the final stage of the designation procedure as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, ECM has launched a range of\u00a0<strong>training services<\/strong>\u00a0to focus on the key issues of the future legislative system.
