In its role as Notified Body, ECM takes part in periodic coordination meetings involving institutions and notified bodies at international level.<\/p>\n\n<p>On this occasion, Eng. <em>Mirko Masotti<\/em> of ECM attended the meeting of <strong>EUANB (European Union Association of Notified Bodies)<\/strong>, which brings together European notified bodies and conformity assessment bodies for the EMC Directive, as well as representatives of the European Commission.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:14px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-white-color has-text-color has-background\" style=\"background-color:#085f9b\"><strong>THE ROLE OF EUANB<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>EUANB&#8217;s objective is to contribute to the <strong>effective implementation of existing legislation<\/strong> by facilitating the sharing of conformity assessment practices in the regulatory arena.<\/p>\n\n<p>Through a close collaboration with the major European standardization organizations &#8211; including <em>CENELEC<\/em> and <em>ETSI<\/em>, EUANB identifies general reference guidelines and practices to facilitate the understanding and application of the EMC Directive&#8217;s <strong>conformity assessment<\/strong> procedures.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:14px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-white-color has-text-color has-background\" style=\"background-color:#085f9b\"><strong>THE COORDINATION MEETINGS<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Participation in EUANB is an important occasion to discuss, together with other authoritative interlocutors, the latest <strong>regulatory developments<\/strong> in the field of <strong>electromagnetic compatibility<\/strong> and <strong>telecommunications<\/strong>.
