ECM will participate in <strong>Session X \u2013 Medical Devices<\/strong>, focusing on <strong>innovation and new technologies for substance-based medical devices within the MDR framework<\/strong>, in a roundtable discussion featuring several Italian Notified Bodies.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:27px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-22476cfb21979907a44286a7867d42cd\" style=\"color:#085f9b\"><strong>A ROUNDTABLE ON REGULATORY CHALLENGES<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>The Notified Bodies\u2019 roundtable in Session X will address some of the most pressing challenges posed by Regulation (EU) 2017\/745 (MDR), including:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>management of <strong>legacy devices<\/strong> and strategies for <strong>clinical data collection<\/strong> and presentation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>critical issues and synergies between companies and authorities regarding <strong>combination products<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the certification pathway for <strong>innovative medical devices<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the impact of <strong>artificial intelligence<\/strong> on risk\/benefit analysis for substance-based medical.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>This roundtable aims to foster a <strong>technical and constructive exchange<\/strong> among authorities, companies, and certification bodies, contributing to the development of a more consistent and effective approach within the MDR regulatory framework.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:27px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6620d422b67cee552ab5a96f4477d18e\" style=\"color:#085f9b\"><strong>ECM\u2019S EXPERTISE IN MDR CERTIFICATION<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>ECM \u2013 Ente Certificazione Macchine<\/strong> is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entecerma.it\/en\/activities\/certifications\/product-and-service\/medical-devices-regulation-eu-2017-745\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Notified Body No. 1282<\/strong><\/a> for the certification of medical devices in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017\/745.
