Following the necessary verifications, ECM has become aware of the improper use of our Notified Body number 1282 in relation to an ‘Energy Absorber’ and ‘Full Body Harness’ used in fall protection systems. Consequently, the use of our Notified Body number on the product label is considered improper, unauthorized, and subject to legal action.

The report has also been forwarded for information to the competent authorities and supervisory bodies, in order to ensure consumer protection and proper market transparency.

ECM reaffirms its commitment to combating the fraudulent use of CE markings and its name as a Notified Body, and urges distributors and consumers to always verify the validity of certifications through the official channels.
