The recent business trip to China by our CEO, Luca Bedonni, marks a new milestone for ECM, strengthening partnerships and consolidating our international presence in the certification and inspection sector.

A busy agenda, filled with meetings with clients and strategic partners, culminated in the inauguration of Ente Cerma Certification (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., further reinforcing ECM’s role in certification and inspection for both the Chinese and European markets. This journey marks a decisive step in ECM’s global expansion, fostering key collaborations and new growth opportunities.

DIRECT ENGAGEMENT WITH PARTNERS AND CUSTOMERS

During the visit, our CEO Luca Bedonni met with companies and representatives from the local regulatory landscape to strengthen strategic relationships for the development of ECM’s activities in China. Among these, a significant moment was the meeting with MICEZ, ECM’s partner in testing and certification, with whom we discussed future collaborations aimed at providing more efficient support to Chinese manufacturers seeking to export to Europe.

THE INAUGURATION OF ENTE CERMA CERTIFICATION (SHANGHAI)

One of the trip’s highlights was the official inauguration of Ente Cerma Certification (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., ECM’s new company dedicated to certification and inspection in the Chinese market. The opening of this office represents a strategic step to offer on-site verification services, simplifying activities for companies operating between China and Europe and reducing risks.

With institutional recognition from Chinese authorities, Ente Cerma Certification (Shanghai) will provide targeted support to both local enterprises and European companies importing from China. The services offered include:

• Product certifications for the Chinese market, verifying compliance with local regulations;
• Pre-shipment inspections for European imports, verifying the conformity of goods and documentation before shipment, reducing the risk of customs issues and delays.
