Ente Certificazione Macchine is enhancing its presence in South Korea by consolidating the prestigious collaboration in the medical devices sector with the leading Korean testing institute.

In recent weeks, Ente Certificazione Macchine has travelled across the Asia-Pacific region to expand its horizons towards new opportunities for international collaboration in testing and certification. After engaging with established partners and forging new business alliances in China, our CEO Luca Bedonni flew to South Korea to strengthen the prestigious collaboration with KTC (Korea Testing Certification Institute).

A STRATEGIC MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

ECM’s visit to KTC’s headquarters in South Korea was not only an opportunity to strengthen existing ties but also to celebrate and renew a commitment that continues over time. In September 2023, ECM’s headquarters in Valsamoggia hosted KTC to sign a memorandum of understanding in the medical devices sector. The event was attended by important institutional, academic, and entrepreneurial figures, underlining the strategic importance of this partnership for both parties involved and the industry as a whole.

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

During the recent visit to South Korea, our CEO Luca Bedonni and KTC President Ahn Seong-il had the chance to further boost cooperation between the two organisations. Through operational discussions and knowledge exchanges, ECM and KTC laid the groundwork for an increasingly solid and fruitful collaboration in the field of medical device certification under the MDR.
